Catalog description

Lectures and presentation/discussion sections will comprehensively explore the historical and contemporary phases of genome-editing technologies. The curriculum will delve into the fundamental mechanisms underlying various classes of genome-editing nucleases, along with avant-garde strategies for crafting innovative genome-editing agents and their therapeutic applications. The weekly schedule will include one lecture and one project presentation section. Students will actively engage in presenting and discussing pertinent literature aligned with the thematic focus of each week's lectures. Given the dynamic nature of genome engineering, the literature selected for discussion sections will be meticulously curated to reflect the latest and most significant advancements in the field.
