Advanced seminar on current topics in human genomics and human evolution. Topics include the methods used for phylogenetic and population genetic analysis; detecting variation in the human genome; detecting signatures of natural selection; mapping genetic variation associated with normal variation and with disease risk. This course is designed for advanced undergraduates and graduate students with a strong background in genetics.
