Master of Bioethics Capstone Seminar

Catalog description

This semester-long seminar serves as a culminating research experience in the MBE program and is open to all MBE students. In this seminar, students work on their own original research project with guidance from the course instructor and capstone classmates. Students attend a biweekly seminar while completing their projects to learn research skills and workshop their project with their peers. Students choose the final product of their research, including conference or poster presentations, ethical guidance for an organization, research papers, and an even solo or co-authored published academic articles. This course is only open to students in the Master of Bioethics program. Students must propose a tentative research topic before registering for the course.
