Catalog description
This course is an introduction to techniques and tools of managing the design and construction of large, and small, construction projects. Topics include project delivery systems, management tools, cost-control and budgeting systems, professional roles - particularly with respect to developer/clients and general contractors. Case studies serve to illustrate applications. Cost and schedule control systems are described. Case studies illustrate the application of project management techniques in the field.
