Catalog description
The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Phase II elective will provide foundational exposure and training in PM&R evaluations and treatment plans with a focus on neurologic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. The elective will expose the student to the field of PM&R including neurological injuries, sports injuries, congenital and acquired disabilities, complications of functional impairment, and the restoration and maintenance of function. The student will be exposed to therapies, medications, and procedures typically used in PM&R practice.
