Catalog description

This course is designed to provide an introductory experience to ophthalmology for phase II students, regardless of their future career goals. The course goal is for students to develop skills in the ophthalmologic evaluation and examination and in the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and management of a variety of common ophthalmic disorders. Students will be precepted by faculty and residents and are invited and encouraged to participate in all teaching activities of the Department, including resident lectures, fluorescein angiography conferences, Grand Rounds, etc.
