NUC E 431W Nuclear Reactor Core Design Synthesis (4) This course provides a capstone design experience that will give the student an understanding of the design methodology and considerations applied to systems or components used in nuclear power reactors and/or in nuclear science. Students will learn design principles, understand and apply design criteria to create a synthesized design product, become familiar with and understand appropriate technical and design terminology and its use, and learn how to prepare technical reports and make technical presentations.
