Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with an overview of the issues and case law related to wrongful convictions. The goal of the course is that students will gain an understanding of this dynamic and quickly growing area of law. The students will study issues related to federal and state postconviction law, constitutional issues in this area, and study in-depth the causes of wrongful convictions.
