Catalog description
A hands-on laboratory course to accompany the majors introductory biology course ( BIOL 114 ) that provides students with the opportunity to engage in experimental science. Through a series of carefully structured lab exercises, students will explore fundamental biological concepts and develop practical skills in scientific inquiry, data collection, and analysis. Students will learn to apply the scientific method, work with laboratory equipment, and interpret results in the context of real-world biological questions. The course emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication of scientific findings.
