This course concerns an artificial intelligence design project, project management, documentation, reporting, and group and individual communication skills. The two principal goals of AIE 489W are (1) to introduce the fundamentals of team-scale systems engineering and management for an artificial intelligence application, and (2) to develop written and oral communication skills sufficient to document and defend both the ethical and technical decisions made in system design, implementation, and testing.
