Catalog description
Prerequisite: CPR-C Certification, all SUT 1st and 2nd semester courses. Corequisties: SUT 1538 and SUT 1703. This course includes instruction in regional anatomy, pathology, instrumentation, techniques and safe patient care in surgical specialty areas of ear, nose, and throat; ophthalmology; plastic; oral and maxillofacial, and orthopedics. This course requires clinical experience in area hospital surgical suites and related departments. Four lecture and twelve clinical hours per week.
