Catalog description

Percussion instruction for music majors with an emphasis on percussion instrumental playing. Designed to teach the fundamental principles of playing, explore moderate to advanced levels of literature and develop the student’s interest in playing. One performance in recital class each semester and participation in band are required. One hour lesson per week and daily practice as assigned.
