Catalog description
Prerequisite: College Algebra or higher level mathematics course, which may be taken concurrently. Corequisite: CHE 1211 A lecture course that covers the fundamental principles of chemistry and their application. Chemical nomenclature, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, atomic structure, bonding theories, energy, periodic properties, and gas laws are among the topics discussed in depth. Three lecture hours per week.
