An examination of research and theory on the forces underlying the way members of an organization behave and their effect on employee and organizational productivity and effectiveness. Individuals effectively participate in, lead, and manage teams and maximize individual contributions to an organization. Topics include the impact that individual characteristics; group dynamics; and organizational structure, policies, and culture have on employee behaviors and organizational outcomes (i.e., productivity, absenteeism, turnover, deviant workplace behavior, satisfaction, and citizenship).
