COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA FOR OLDER ADULTS 0 unit

Catalog description

This ensemble for the older adult rehearses and performs classics from the standard symphony orchestra literature including works for string and full ensembles. Emphasis is placed on technical proficiency, ensemble playing, and interpretation of diverse musical styles. Rehearsals and public performances are combined with the College/Community Orchestra and are to be held on campus and in the community. Total of 18 hours lecture, 36 hours activity, and 18 hours laboratory. This course may be scheduled using the “To Be Arranged” (TBA) scheduling format.
