Introduction to nursing concepts, physiological principles, and professional skills essential for nursing practice, preparation to function as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Emphasis is placed on utilizing knowledge of physiological alterations due to disease and aging to inform basic care planning. Learn to integrate lab results and formulate critical thinking, skills needed to take the Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Total of 90 hours lecture.
