This course delves into Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), emphasizing its role in ensuring precision and clarity in engineering designs. Students will explore GD&T symbols, rules, and applications as defined by ASME Y14.5 standards, enhancing their ability to communicate design intent effectively. The curriculum covers form controls, datum systems, and tolerance types, fostering a comprehensive understanding of their impact on part functionality and manufacturability.
