Catalog description
This course builds upon fundamental machining skills, focusing on advanced manual mill and lathe operations. Students will refine their ability to interpret complex technical drawings and execute precision machining processes. Emphasis is placed on process planning, tooling selection, and quality control techniques. Hands-on projects, inspections, and troubleshooting exercises will prepare students for industry applications. Safety, efficiency, and problem-solving in machining environments are key components of the course. Total 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
