Catalog description

Introduction to kinesiology and functional anatomy principles applied to fitness and movement. Students will explore musculoskeletal, nervous, and respiratory system anatomy; analyze exercise movements; and learn basic biomechanics. Designed for students pursuing careers in fitness instruction, personal training, yoga teaching, or related movement-based professions. Total of 54 hours lecture.
