One of two required courses for the JAM – College Readiness program. Empowers students to navigate the college environment with confidence and purpose. Through interactive learning, students will explore essential campus technologies, understand financial aid and scholarship application processes, and engage in self-reflection to develop academic identity. Topics include: effective communication and self-advocacy within a supportive community that values belonging, respect and fairness. Students will identify and utilize campus resources, enhancing their ability to thrive academically and personally. Total 9 hours of lecture.
