Catalog description

This course introduces the major biological concepts of ecology and evolution. Topics include: cellular reproduction, protein synthesis, genetics, and animal structure and function. The content in this course aligns with the Science Framework for California Secondary Education and partially fulfills the science (biological and physical sciences) requirement, one of the two required courses for the high school diploma. Total of 36 to 100 hours lecture.
