In this course, students explore a variety of literary genres such as novels, short stories, drama, and non-fiction articles to bolster reading comprehension, analytical skills, grammar and mechanics, and vocabulary enhancement. Students develop critical reading skills and deploy rhetorical strategies for using words with greater nuance, agility, and influence. Total of 36 to 100 hours of lecture.
