Advanced instruction and training in effective American English listening and speaking skills. Topics include listening comprehension, communication strategies, interpersonal and intercultural competence, discussion of high-interest topics, and oral presentations. Designed for students at an intermediate to advanced level of ESL (noncredit ESLN Levels 4, 5 and above). Total of 18-54 hours lecture.
