Prerequisite: MATH 008 OR MATH 009. Introduction to principles of engineering drawings in visually communicating engineering design and an introduction to computer-­aided design (CAD). Engineering design projects with an emphasis on the development of visualization skills, orthographic projections, mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing practices, problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration and communication across multiple industries, software and prototyping technologies.
