Introduction to dental essentials to include: the dental health team, dentition and tooth morphology, embryology and histology, head and neck anatomy, physiology and general anatomy, oral cavity and salivary glands, muscles of mastication, sinuses, preventative dentistry, nutrition, tobacco and vaping, vital signs, dental materials and selected dental office lab procedures, basic dental equipment. Total of 54 hours lecture and 27 hours laboratory.
