Catalog description

Explores modern generative and agentic artificial intelligence (AI) systems that interact with users, reason about goals, and execute tasks across applications. Topics include prompt engineering, multi-modal generation, memory and tool use, and autonomous behavior. Students gain hands-on experience with current agentic frameworks and APIs, and the ethical and social implications of real-world deployments. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
