Fundamental theory, techniques, and procedures on basic hair, skin, and nail care. Lectures, demonstrations and practical procedures in basic hair, skin, and nail care with emphasis on safely and client protection. Other topics include California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology rules and regulations, health and safety codes, general science as it relates to cosmetology, infection control, chemistry, and electricity.
