Topics include: static routing, Routing Information Protocol (RIP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Virtual LANs (VLANs), Inter-VLAN routing, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), First-Hop Redundancy Protocol (FHRP), Access Control Lists (ACLs), Network Address Translation (NAT), and Wireless LAN (WLAN). Preparation for the CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCT Routing and Switching, and Cisco CCNA certification exams. No credit if taken after CIS 162. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
