Designed to prepare students for careers and/or further education in child care, child development, and early childhood education. Students gain knowledge and resources in key theories of child development and the social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive domains of development for children from birth through 6 years of age. A Child Care Provider Certificate of Completion is awarded upon completion of CHDN 1100 , CHDN 1101 , and CHDN 1102 . Total of 27 hours lecture.
