This course provides an introduction to fundamental skills and common practices in the construction and building trades. Students will explore their aptitudes and interests in the construction field to make informed decisions about future careers, education, and training. The course includes hands-on experience in basic carpentry, masonry, and mechanical tasks, offering preparation for entry into union apprenticeship programs within the construction and building trades. Total of 54 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
