This course offers an introduction to the unionized building trades and the construction industry, including an overview of various trade unions and the wide range of careers they represent. Aligned with the North American Building Trades Union’s Multi-Craft Core Curriculum and authorized by the Los Angeles and Orange County Building Trades Apprenticeship Readiness Fund, the course combines academic and technical preparation with a strong emphasis on career awareness, exploration, and skill development. Total of 72 hours lecture.
