Prerequisite: BIOL 038. Fundamental principles and practices for the production of stem cell therapy products including regulatory guidelines and standards. Stem cell-based biomanufacturing and related bioprocessing technologies to produce stem cell therapeutics include stem cell genetic manipulation, expansion, differentiation, characterization, selection, separation, formulation, and biopreservation.
