Appreciating music as a science and an art. Development of active listening skills through the use of learning the basic elements of music to connect and enjoy music of many genres and cultures. Emphasis of multi-cultural musical expression in historical and societal contexts for a global music perspective. Successful completion of this course will meet requirements for five (5) Adult High School Diploma credits. Total of 72 hours lecture.
