Anatomical structures and their function in the respiratory system, the physiology of breathing, oxygen and carbon dioxide transport. Relationship of anatomical changes to clinical presentation in respiratory illness. Normal pulmonary function and the effect of changes in lung compliance and resistance on pulmonary function.
