Catalog description

Develops intermediate comprehension skills basic to successful academic reading. Students who complete CCS 098 with a D are strongly recommended to enroll in CCS 099 the following semester. Students who complete CCS 098 with an F must either repeat the course or demonstrate a CCS 099 or higher reading level by retaking Parkland's reading assessment. Repeatable for a maximum of 12 credit hours.
