This course emphasizes applied teaching methods in yoga, including the eight-step method of teaching and learning, strategies for adapting practices for special populations, and effective classroom communication and management. Through online instruction and in-person labs, students will apply anatomical knowledge and hands-on skills to create safe, accessible, and engaging learning environments. The course also introduces core principles of Ayurveda and their integration into yoga practices to support holistic well-being. In addition, students will explore foundational business strategies that promote professional development and long-term sustainability in teaching practice.
