Catalog description

Content establishes a knowledge base in radiographic, fluoroscopic, and mobile diagnostic equipment requirements and design. The content also provides a basic knowledge of quality control for radiographic equipment. Additionally, the students will establish a basic knowledge of anatomy and a positioning of the lower and upper extremities shoulder girdle, acromial clavicle joints, pelvis, and sacroiliac joints. Patient care, image evaluation and technique formulas concerning portable x-ray machines will also be implement in this course. A lab component is included with this course. Prerequisite(s): RADR 1311
