Pediatric Musculoskeletal Capstone

Catalog description

This course requires the student to produce an original research design suitable for submission to a Human Subjects Review Board (IRB) that demonstrates mastery of a subject/field they wish to pursue professionally. The course's primary focus is the analysis of scientific literature to formulate a research proposal, including a thorough review of literature, hypothesis, and methodology. The research proposal will describe contributions to the field of pediatric MSK care related to exercise and sport science, nutrition, and public health issues. (Pre-requisites: completion of all core courses. (Students must complete this course in the final term of enrollment)
