Catalog description

This course examines the integration of macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein, fat) and micronutrients (vitamins, minerals) with common supplements, nutraceuticals, and other functional foods to support optimal health and healing. Students review and apply evidence-based findings and interpret biochemical measures to determine the use of functional foods in personalized therapeutic diets plans.
