MEDICAL NUTRITION THERAPY I

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the pathophysiology of selected diseases. Students will use critical thinking skills and knowledge of nutrition, pathophysiology, and nutrition assessment to determine nutritional status, nutrition diagnosis, and evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to develop nutrition plans for individuals with disease.
