Catalog description

This course will associate the cardiovascular systems of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Students will contrast the cardiac and vascular structural anatomy and relationships, differentiating electrical innervation, embryology, and hemodynamics of the heart and vascular system. This includes pathophysiology, etiology, pathology, signs, symptoms, risk factors, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Prerequisite: DMSO 1342
