Catalog description

This course supports the mission statement of Parker University, College of Chiropractic by helping to create leaders who promote Chiropractic wellness through high standards of education, research and service. This course is designed to reinforce students to correlate prior knowledge in anatomy through palpating under ultrasound-guidance. This will require students to ‘re-learn’ the anatomy on a live subject with the aid of diagnostic ultrasound that will provide visual feedback to students of the exact anatomical location of the structures covered in the course work. The course will introduce clinical applications of musculoskeletal ultrasound with common soft tissue conditions in the upper and lower extremities.Prerequisites: Systems Pathology, Gross Anatomy II
