Catalog description
This course concentrates on the skills and knowledge required to properly perform an optimal radiographic examination. In the lab, emphasis will be placed on patient positioning and protection, technique calculations, and instrument operation. The lecture will focus on determining the need for x-rays, informed consent procedures, completing a radiology requisition, generating a radiographic report, referring for additional imaging and professional communication with specialists in radiology and other disciplines.Prerequisite(s): Clinical Imaging IV
