INTERMEDIATE CLINICAL INTEGRATION
Parker University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
This transitional course provides structured academic continuity and clinical readiness for Doctor of Chiropractic students who have completed all academic requirements through Trimester 7 but have not yet passed NBCE Part I. The course bridges the gap between the pre-clinical phase and Trimester 8 clinic entry by reinforcing diagnostic reasoning, examination proficiency, and foundational treatment skills in a supervised learning environment.Students participate in weekly hybrid sessions that integrate clinical simulations, case-based discussions, and NBCE Part I board preparation. Under faculty supervision, students will begin limited-scope clinical encounters with classmates or designated student volunteers to practice patient history, examination, and basic chiropractic procedures. These encounters emphasize professional communication, ethical boundaries, and evidence-informed care consistent with Parker University and CCE expectations. The course aims to maintain student engagement, ensure clinical skill progression, and promote readiness for both NBCE Part I success and full clinic participation in Internship Practicum I.Prerequisites: Completion of trimesters 1-7.
