Catalog description
This lab course reinforces skills learned in AAT I, AAT II, AAT III, ESAT 1, ESAT 2, Physical Diagnosis and Clinical Neurology which make up the foundation of neuromusculoskeletal assessment and treatment. This lab reinforces skill building towards mastery of psychomotor skills in preparation for clinic. This lab is a continuation of Full Spine Adjusting I and II/ Accelerated Full Spine Adjusting. Individualized feedback is provided so the learner can demonstrate the knowledge, mechanical principles, and psychomotor skills necessary to safely perform chiropractic adjustment/manipulation. The student will apply chiropractic adjustment/manipulation to classmates while ensuring safety. Spinal inclinometry is utilized. Student clinical skills are refined by directed practice of basic examination techniques including vital signs, neurological examination, segmental findings using PART and muscle palpations. This is a pass/fail course. Prerequisite(s): Full Spine Adjusting II
