An introduction to the advanced design and analysis of computer communication networks. Topics include application layer protocols, internet protocols, network interfaces, local and wide area networks, wireless networks, bridging and routing, and current topics. Topics include history, media, hardware, software, standards, networks, analysis and design, distributed processing, and network management. Prerequisite(s): BCIS 2306 Fundamental of Network Systems or Transfer credits
