Catalog description

This course introduces the defining characteristics, philosophical orientation, goals, and limitations of Behavior Analysis. Topics include behavior observation, operant conditioning, functional assessment, single subject design, maintenance, and application of behavioral principles. Students will collect and graph data, analyze reinforcement contingencies, and conduct simulations that model functional behavior assessment and behavior-change procedures.
