Catalog description
Introduces students to the concepts, vocabulary, history, philosophies, and strategies of population health across a wide range of health-related applications. Students will learn to apply frameworks for thinking about complex integrative health-related problems. This course places a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices, systems thinking, interdisciplinary thinking, and both integrative & lateral thinking. Within the culminating assignment, students will explore the application of these processes to a health-related problem.
