This seminar studies World War II’s causes and course, the Holocaust, military technology, the home and fighting fronts, and the postwar reconstruction. The seminar examines the experience of combatants and non-combatants experience of occupation and resistance. The seminar shall comprise an inquiry of period literature. Note: Offered as required.
