World War One was the crucible of the modern world and it altered the political, economic, intellectual, social and cultural realities of inside and outside Europe, culminating in a redrawn map of Europe’s political boundaries. This survey examines the war’s multiple cause and effects. The survey shall comprise an inquiry of period literature. Note: Offered as required.
